Photo Printing

There are a number of different ways of photo printing, of making a permanent copy of the photos from your camera phone.

In fact there are so many different photo printing services, with different prices for printing and postage, it can be difficult to decide which service to choose.

Many services offer a free trial so this can be a great way of finding which service is best for you, but in a recent survey of over 15 photo printing companies, Five TV’s Gadget Show carried out a lot of the hard workm and had the same images printed by the different photo printing companies and this is what they found.

Eliminating those companies that took longer than 5 working days to return the pictures, and those where the quality was poor gave them a top three:

One Vision were by far the most expensive at over £0.65 per print and their website is less than user friendly.

In second place were Tesco, where a single print costs £0.15, droping to £0.13 if you are ordering 50 or more plus £1.50 p&p.

The gadget show gave the best photo printing award to Snapfish, placing them in first place for quality, service and price. Snapfish have a current offer where you can get 40 free prints if you are a new Snapfish customer.

After the 40 free prints, each print will cost just £0.09p with delivery from £0.99p. Our advice is to try the snapfish service with the free prints to see if you like the quality and convenience. Compared with the cost of printer ink, and photo paper, £0.09p a print seems very reasonable.
