The Motorola Defy is the latest touch screen Android mobile (Android Éclair 2.1 with enhanced MOTOBLUR) from Motorola. Not only does it look good, the Defy has a 5 megapixel camera with built-in LED flash, digital zoom, auto focus and real-time image optimisation including colour effects and scene modes. It is also dust proof and water-resistant, and has a scratch-resistant screen through its thin yet tough Corning Gorilla® glass display.Motorola Defy

There is the full range of Google tools including Maps, Street View, Navigation, Mail, Calendar, and You Tube. The backlit touch screen is 3.7-in., 480 x 854 pixels and has haptic feedback and pinch to zoom and up to seven customisable home screens, as well as a virtual qwerty keyboard.

Connect to other equipment with Bluetooth, the micro USB socket, or through WiFi. There is a standard 3.5 mm AV jack for headphones. Email includes support for Corporate calendar, email and contacts (Exchange 2003 and 2007), Google contacts, calendar and Gmail™.

Direct integration with social networks including Facebook™, MySpace, Twitter, Photobucket, Picasa and Last.FM. There is a media player and FM radio and the ability to record and view video at 26-30 fps.Motorola Defy 5mp Camera

The Motorola Defy measures 59 x 107 x 13.4 mm and weighs 118 g, has up to 6.8 hours of continuous talk time, and is packed with 2GB internal shared memory, 2GB microSD card and 512 of RAM.
