Samsung SCH-W880

Samsung have officially announced the immanent arrival of the SCH-W880 12 megapixel camera phone, packed with features that you would expect to see on a dedicated camera, such as a 3x optical zoom (as well as a 2x digital zoom) and HD video recording.

Other features more normally seen on good quality digital cameras, but present on the SCH-W800 are face recognition, smile shot, touch autofocus and image stabilisation. There is a 800 x 480 3.3-inch AMOLED display.

Samsung have not released any information as to what phone features may be incorporated as yet, of if versions will be available outside of Korea.
