Sky are about to launch a service on Vodaphone 3G to broadcast live football and cricket.

The service is starting 6 May with league playoff matches and running through unitl the last Test match between England and Pakistan.

I see that GMTV are now using 3G as a video booth type thingy to allow people to get live on air with video calls to the presenters.

Now 3 are launching a Mobile Footy programme called Berlin or Bust, to start 5 June 2006.

Presented by Sam Delaney there are to be guests including celebrities like the Kaiser Chiefs and Ray Winstone. It is set to have a more ireverent feel that the terestial style football shows.

And it is to be free to 3 subscribers. There will also be free highlights after every game in the tournament
