Big Brother Disney mobile?

Disney have announced plans to launch a mobile phone service aimed at families and children. The service, due to start in the USA in June, will offer tools to allow parents to monitor and control their childrens calls as well as a Global Positioning System locator that can provide real-time maps and addresses of family members.

In addition they will offer disney downloads aimed at the child users - ringtones and wallpapers, etc

I guess a lot of parents trust the Disney name with this and will like the GPS tracking and content protection side.

The market must be limited though to a few years of use - after a certain age the kids will push for a more open contract - but I suppose there are always more kids coming along to fill gaps left by those moving on
