    The Nokia 5800 is the first touch screen phone from Nokia, and although branded as an xpress music mobile, it is the touch screen capabilities that will get the pulse racing.

    Lets look at those first then. The Nokia 5800 has a 3.2" screen with near HD definition, and comes with a plectrum and stylus, or you can just use your finger, to access the QWERTY keyboard, or keypad that appear on the screen as required. There is also a built in handwriting recognition application, if you find the on screen keyboard too small.

    Whereas in the past, Nokia has addedd dedicated media keys, because the 5800 has an active touch screen they have incorporated this functionality into a special media bar.

    There is 81MB of internal built in memory plus a 8GB SD card (expandable to 16GB)

    There is an integrated GPS, almost expected these days, as well as the music player and download service that comes with the xpress music version
